We can’t wait to wear the John Fluevog ‘Starboard’ with all of our dresses come summer, but that doesn’t mean we can’t wear it now, too! This closed toe shoe is a great piece for transitioning from winter to spring.
Right now, we’re wearing the Starboard with a nod to the nautical theme and dreaming of a luxury cruise in the French Riviera. Adding in the tights and jacket will ensure we stay warm on chilly days.
Later, when warmer weather hits, we plan to wear this shoe with one of spring’s hottest trends, pastels. Paired with a leather jacket, these shoes add just enough edge to a feminine outfit.

Can a bag that’s big enough to hold everything you need for a “real day” make you look fat?
When a bag hits at our widest part, isn’t it smart to employ a few slenderizing strategies?
The answer is yes and yes! That’s why we are big fans of this beautiful bag from Chemical Wedding. The diagonal stripes are both flattering and stylish, and the muted colors work well with all the Prairie Underground clothing we wear day in, day out. Plus, and this is a big plus, the Angelina has room enough to hold all of our stuff without those unsightly bulges.

Ready for Spring yet? Sunny days are few and far between this time of year. Miz Mooz “Pax” packs a bright punch that might cheer you up! The “citron” colors are very refreshing and the mary-jane-esque style is plenty comfortable!

We ♥ Cheryl, our all-things Miz Mooz assistant and advisor. Here she is recommending a hot new color in the Bloom for next fall (and when Cheryl speaks, we listen!) Miz Mooz fall ’12 looks AMAZING – it’s hard not to go completely crazy and order the entire line. We’re glad to see the chunky heel oxford, Nash, will be featured again (and check out the new color, blue.) We also noticed an enhanced trend toward ankle boots, which we adore. Nothing is cuter with our cuffed jeans (unless, of course, it’s the Nash!)

The Prairie Underground Short Raincloak is the most stylish rain coat around and one of our favorite pieces for transitioning into spring. Wear it over a dress on a rainy night out, and during the day, add some polish to jeans and boots when running errands.
Needless to say, we added this to our wardrobe when it came in, and we think you should too! The Short Raincloak is currently available in black.

Is it possible to look cute and walk at the same time? Well, yes, as long as you’ve traded your tennis shoes for the perfect pair of flats – as in “Poa” from Cydwoq. We know you don’t want to look like a tourist when you travel, that’s why every girl needs a pair of shoes like these. You only think you need black, but come on now, it’s practically SPRING! The color of this shoe is a swirly mauve (read very neutral); great – as a good travel shoe must be – with denim, but picture them with a floral print dress – lovely!

Fluevog always comes up with unique styles, and these perfect booties are no exception! The unconventional shape of the comfortable platform heel of “Trailer” has been seen before at Clementine, and has been reinvigorated for Spring in this beautiful cognac leather. What a standout!

If you are tired of BLACK, try Navy! Prairie Underground Long Raincloak , which has durable water repellent on jackets outer fabric. It will keep you dry in most of Seattle’s weather. But remember this is not WATERPROOF, which I prefer,because it is more breathable and quiet. No rain gear feel….. Also available in a shorter version Raincloak Hoodie in Black.

Clementine has an amazing Spring line up. Here are 3 of our top picks for your Seattle warmer weather dreams. In THIN MINT is “Guide” a shoe we have had in before, but not in this incredible color.
