We’re excited to host a trunk show with new-to-the-Seattle-fashion-scene April Pride, offering you access to her innovative design – THE DRESS. The event will take place next Thursday, May 16th, 3 to 8 p.m.
Originally given to her as a vintage piece, April found THE DRESS was magic – it could fit nearly every body type and every occasion! With this unique versatility in mind, she re-created the design. Ideal dressed up or down to wear with your favorite summer sandals or nighttime pumps, you’ll be able to custom order a piece from April’s Collection No. 1, seen in this video.

The details: THE DRESS is made to order in Seattle with a 6-week lead-time, and retails for $295 (shipping included). In addition, limited edition and one-of-a-kind items will be available for sale.
How to style it: With a one-size-fits-most style, THE DRESS is adorable with a bandeau top underneath and can be worn a multitude of ways (buttoned up, buttoned down, belted or not), which we think you’ll love!
Hope to see you there!

This is for all of you ladies who love yoga, Pilates, Nia, or Pure Barre, but who don’t necessarily enjoy going barefoot on a studio floor. The Nike Studio Wrap has got you covered! Also, who doesn’t need a little more traction? The Studio Wrap has a tiny traction pads so you can warrior with a little more assurance that your feet will stay put while you try to push your limits. I got the classic black as pictured, but have yet to lace up my wraps ballerina-style as shown here.
Sizing is true, and they are washable. You know we have to really love a shoe that we bought from someone other than ourselves!Just wanted to share…
Cheers

Wear the Jean Bellows jacket from Prairie Underground with your skinny jeans? That’s a no-brainer. But we love this jacket so much, we also wanted to see it styled in some not-so-predictable ways. So we asked Diana to send us a photo with some styling inspiration, as she’d recently purchased it, and we knew that she’d put together something spectacular. (We love it when we’re right!) Here she shows us how to pair with a girly skirt (of her own making) and simple tee, doesn’t she look smashing? Diana is all about bringing a look together using details like the grey piping on the skirt echoing the color of the jacket. Love it!

Seattle spring’s are notorious for chilly days (and even chillier nights!), but a little weather isn’t going to deter us from wearing all of our new favorite spring items! What’s the secret to looking on trend for spring but staying warm? Accessories!

Layer up as much as you’d like, and then add bright shoes, bags, jewelry and more to your ensemble! The Melissa Ultragirl + Liberty flat is the perfect addition to an otherwise neutral outfit. Pair with one more colorful item (like a brightly hued cross body bag!), and you’ll certainly have plenty of spring in your step

The Dwin from Chie Mihara is one classy little sandal – part deconstructed loafer, part classic t-strap. It’s 1/2″ heel is perfect for strolling Olympic Sculpture Park, and will dress up your jeans and tee in a flash – equally stunning with a little summer shift. And in the PERFECT neutral for summer, this grey/taupe works well with black, cream, red, grey, prints, stripes – you get our drift

Melissa shoes brings us another example of what they do so well – incorporate art, design and inspiration from many sources. While collaborations with Zaha Hadid and Vivienne Westwood were quirky and fabulous, the use of Liberty Prints on the Ultragirl peep toe is simply sweet and adorable. Really, what wouldn’t you wear this cute little flat with? Super comfy, walkable, packable (heck, even washable!), we see you taking the Ultragirl on your next trip to sunny climes. ps Don’t you think a jelly shoe is perfect for Seattle’s spring weather?

We love this pointed-toe flat from Klub Nico! Tiny polka dots are as happy as tiny bubbles (in my book) and are fun to use when mixing patterns and stripes. Also, as Clare models below, feel free to use with unconventional modes of “matching”. Above all, as my friend Sandylew says, “Have fun getting dressed!”
